Safeguarding

Our churches take their responsibilities towards safeguarding very seriously, and the incumbent, wardens and respective PCCs have paid due regard to safeguarding policy and practice guidance issued by the House of Bishops’ ‘Promoting a Safer Church; safeguarding policy statement’. Thurleigh United Church, our Anglican-Baptist Local Ecumenical Project, also follows the Church of England's safeguarding policies and procedures. We ensure that all our officers receive appropriate and up-to-date training and have completed a programme of DBS checking in line with Diocesan recommendations.
